Communication design!

As soon as I heard the term, I was interested to learn about it. As a Communication Arts student, design is not too far from what I study. But communication design in particular was uncharted territory for me.

After watching a very interesting TED Talk, which you can find at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVa_IZVzUoc, and poring through three articles, here’s a t-shirt design I came up with:

Shell shrimps contain chitin, an polysaccharide that can be converted into chitosan for making plastic alternatives.

Here is the design on a shirt, followed by one of my favorite Korean celebrities, singer-songwriter and actress IU, sporting the design on her sweater.

While I’m not a graphic artist (thank God for Canva), this was enjoyable to do.
